Paranormal Investigations:
We investigate private residences or business locations. When we begin our investigation an investigator will interview all parties involved, while the rest of our team sets up equipment that will give us scientific information on your environment. We will also be taking still photographs, audio and video recordings of the paranormal activity. This process should last about 4 hours.
We at Spooksfield will help determine if you have a legitimate haunting, or if the activity you are experiencing has an explainable cause. We believe that more than 90% of all activity can be explained by natural causes. Our Professional Spooksfield staff will attempt to find the cause to help put your mind at ease. What is the deal with 2012
The date December 21, 2012 marks the end of the Mayan calendar. Some believe this could spell doomsday for Earth, while many others believe it signifies the dawn of a new age for mankind. It is alleged by a Mayan prophecy that the Earth ends one cycle and begins a new one every 5,125 years. The last cycle ended in 1987, with a new cycle set to begin in the year 2012.
Early Doomsday Predictions
As early as 2800 BC, the end of the world has been predicted. This early prediction on an Assyrian tablet claimed that the world was quickly coming to an end. It was predicted by Hilary of Pointers, (a bishop,) that the world would end in 365 AD. The year 1284 was the year the world would end according to Pope Innocent III.
Throughout mankind's history, many believe that the end of the world as we know it has been predicted time and time again with earlier predictions of the Apocalypse occurring again in 1367, when the Antichrist would cause the end of the world and in 1524 when the world was going to be destroyed by a global flood, according to some astrologers.
Modern Day End of World Predictions
Many religious and cult leaders have predicted the end of the world in more modern times. Emanuel Swedenborg, (of the Swedenborgian Church) predicted that Doomsday would occur in 1757.
The year 1936 would spell mankind's demise according to Worldwide Church of God founder, Herbert W. Armstrong, while spiritual leader Michael Travesser, of The Lord Our Righteousness Church, claimed the world would be destroyed on October 31, 1997.

What are Hauntings
Dictionaries usually define a haunting as a place with ghosts or the ghost itself. The term is generally applied to psi, psychic phenomena, that include haunters, apparitions and poltergeists.
What Do Hauntings Include?
The term is generally applied to cases of apparitions, haunters and/or poltergeists. The psi may include one or phenomena such as:
•Sounds of footsteps could involve chains clanking, bangings, rappings, moans, screams, music and/or other sounds
•Sights that may consist of lights flashing or floating, orbs, shadows and/or apparitions
•Cold or warm spots
•Odors that are peculiar, unpleasant or aromatic
•Being touched by something invisible
•Sensing an unseen presence
•Objects moving by themselves or disappearing and reappearing
•Doors and windows opening and closing by themselves
•Electrical and electronic equipment being affected
•Animals reacting to a presence.
Differences Between Hauntings, Apparition, and Poltergeists
Both apparitions and hauntings can be seen, heard, smelled, tasted, felt by touched and/or sensed. Apparitions have intelligence; hauntings do not. A haunting is energy, like a videotape, imprinted on time and space.
Apparitions usually have a purpose for existing. Hauntings replay the same scenario repeatedly and are considered the longest lasting of ghostly phenomena. Poltergeists are manifestations of psychokinesis, PK, the ability of the mind to affect matter. The agent is a human or an entity.
